How can we insure
with each passing year, we’ll grow
wiser, more compassionate?
~
We must be like gods:
hearts open, desires known,
from ourselves no secrets hid.
How can we insure
with each passing year, we’ll grow
wiser, more compassionate?
~
We must be like gods:
hearts open, desires known,
from ourselves no secrets hid.
Tell me, my poet
friend, do you think folks mostly
do the best they can?
~

at the cost of all the rest.
If delusion is

~
You can quote Occam

but his razor will miss them.
What can the world’s faiths
teach us when they seem at such
odds with each other?
~
They may speak their truth,
these Rabbis, Imams and Priests,
but true faith, dwells within.
If you could unwrap
only one gift for the whole
world, what would it be?
~
My gift for the world
must remain encased, always,
safe inside Pandora’s Jar!
Has anybody
Asked about a down side
To the existence of God?
~
Through the ages those
who want more control always
seek out the down side.
When Jesus, Buddha,
and Mohammad find common
ground, will we stand there?
~
“Can we stand there too?”
may be the question to ask.
Or, could we stand to BE there?
