like a band of brothers, stand
united despite wedges?

With united goals
and singular purpose,

How does one achieve
balance in an unbalanced
world spinning out of control?

If many people
join hands and spin together,
balance can be restored.
Please, can we not stand
together and united
against rampant injustice?

Perhaps we’ll listen
to ourselves pledge liberty
and justice for all.
When Jesus, Buddha,
and Mohammad find common
ground, will we stand there?

“Can we stand there too?”
may be the question to ask.
Or, could we stand to BE there?
