In The Land Of The Free

Sometimes in the midst

of an overly busy

day, peace thankfully descends.

~

And sometimes that peace

is suddenly shattered by

staccato shooting reports.

On Flickering Flames and iPhones

Is it possible

to have equanimity

when faced with technology?

~

Hearty appeal, what must we

will reignite the fire

or provide the fuel.
