So, my poet friend,
what do you do when not one
word crosses your worn-out brain?
~
Close old eyes and breathe.
Imagine a place of peace.
Look for its pieces nearby.

After almost one
year of mondo zen, when might
enlightenment come ?
~
Like turning seasons
and rising and setting suns,
enlightenment arises.
And when we have found
that which we have been seeking,
would we, then, be satisfied?
~
On this temporal
plane, temporarily is
the name of the game.
What draws a poet
to look both at and beyond
the ordinary?
~
Longing deep enough
to strip away the surface;
endless search for hidden truth.
When emotions run
unfettered through our hearts,
what might they find there?
~
One thing is certain –
what they won’t find there are thought,
balance, and moderation.
Are seekers of truth
content with endless searching
or is it more like… tenure?
~
There are some who seek
and some who sit. Truth’s visits
leave them both content.
Is there limit to
what may be found when seeking
with an open heart?
~
When we’re present with
an open heart, there is no
limit to being found.
When embarking on
a spiritual journey,
what must one be sure to pack?
~
Spiritual journeys
are more about unpacking
and traveling light.
If there’s some secret
known only to a few that brings
happiness, what is it?
~
The secret is known
to all. But, perhaps, it’s just
well hidden in the darkness.
Seeker, why do you
insist on looking for what
can never be found?
~
That which is sought may
never be found, but along
the way, there will be wonders!
