I will be amazed
or so I have been assured.
What if I remain nonplussed?
~
When things don’t add up,
it’s certainly no wonder
that you are nonplussed.
I will be amazed
or so I have been assured.
What if I remain nonplussed?

When things don’t add up,
it’s certainly no wonder
that you are nonplussed.

can be radically changed by
external events.
~
Unfortunately,
external reality
doesn’t march to inner drums.
When words escape me,
will inarticulate howls
convey meaning just as well?

you find your pack. Who knows what
good changes you all will bring?

dozing off, what moments do
you fondly recall?
~
Today was a day
in which all fine moments come
AFTER dozing off.

a frayed old rope tied between
irresistible forces.

Sometimes I feel like
a frayed old rope tossed into
a dusty corner.
That sudden burst of
roadside blue – could it be some
bachelors eager for summer?
~
Anticipating
a buoyant Beltane ballet
with Buttercups and Bluebells!

often governs who we see
as heroes and as villains.

will help us see them far more
comprehensively.

it take to change his light bulb
when dark thoughts fill every room?

want, let’s stop building walls and
shredding the truth.

Endless foolishness,
flowing freely from the swamp,
inundating hearts and minds.

patient with my impatience
and that of others .

Just so long as you’re
loving to the odious
and their patent odium.
In equal measure,
elation and misery
scaffold this glorious life.
~

falls between these two extremes
and glues it all together.
It’s not for lack of
wise teachers that we remain
heartbreakingly ignorant.

with our bits between our teeth,
from that trough, we will not feast.
Just because we’re not
laboring for your pleasure,
doesn’t mean we’re at leisure.

this lemony patina,
one can’t help but gasp.

the prospective jailbird sing
til someone buys his record?

in politics, poetry;
artful ambiguity

wide when what you’re looking for
can be found inside?
~
Why bother searching
at all? Why not just sit there
contemplating Vulpine News!
