Today, the desert
seduces my camera,
drawing me deeper therein.

Lost in the maze of
busy days, poetry gets
trapped and can’t speak out.

Pleasing morning breeze
ripples through sun-lit trees, helps
us start the day with delight.

the weather oft makes the day.
Cat leaves small presents.
I sadly decline. Perhaps
