If there are many
answers to the big questions,
can they all be right?
~
A wise Jedi once
told me, “Everything is true,
from a certain point of view!”

Why are life’s pleasures
So much easier to seek
Than the prices are to pay?
~
Seeking is sometimes
much easier than paying
the price for what’s sought.
When winter winds blow
and we’re still far from home, What
must we do to tend the flame?
~
Cherish the warming
of remembered smiles’ glow
and smokey hearth’s aroma.
If wise Divine knew
The mettle of his stewards,
What might be his good plan B?
~
It’s been said that His
stewards need to stop stewing
and open their hearts to be.
Now that the battle’s
almost won, does anyone
know what the fight was about?
~
Do soldiers ever
question why the bullets fly
once the battle is joined?
Perhaps the Divine
Suffered some kind of a
“Galactic” lapse of reason?
~
Maybe not a lapse
of reason, but a misplaced
faith in humans’ learning curve.
Fifty years ago
today, my son, we welcomed
you to this world. How’s it been?
~
Great! Except for your
faith that I was born with some
“magic tool” for any job!
With distractions here,
there, and everywhere, what will
help us get a grip and see?
~
MAYBE all eyes will
Open before we drown in
That smelly tributary.
Life will find its way
to flourish, spread, and blossom.
Will us or nil us, perhaps?
~
God surely had a
contingency plan when He
made us stewards of this earth.
